After breakfast my daughter and I drew together. I borrowed her Crayola colored pencils. Their quality is surprisingly good, though I did notice a faster waxy buildup than I get with my Prismacolors. It's been a long time since I've used this medium -- maybe it's time to break out the big box of 120!

I have one of these ready to eat in my kitchen right now. Love your rendition, I have never used coloured pencils and yours are so light and fine.
I am glad that I could be a help for you to do art every day. I myself have been enjoying the (almost) every day adventure as well.
Lovely. So subtle. Great use of colour.
This drawing is soft, ethereal, understated, yet strong. I can feel the roundness and clearly see the sections and texture of the skin. Your drawings make your blog site an exciting place to be!!!! I am so glad to see so many inspirational drawings. The muffin and acorns have achingly beautiful lines. I love how on some of the drawings, we can see the "process" (we can see some of the original marks and then how you changed them.) And amazingly, you are doing all this while taking care of an 18 month old. You are too hard on yourself about the toddler outfit drawing and others. Believe me, you may not think they are perfect, but they still have charm.
Wow...crayolas? I think this just proves how talented you are!
This is such a neat drawing of a meon. You did a great job on it...can almost taste the sweetness of it.
This is a wonderful drawing! It's delicate color may be an artifact of the Crayola pencils, but it works very well.
You really should get the Prismacolors out and see happens. I'll be looking forward to seeing the result.
